Phil Brookman is the preaching minister at the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, OK where he has served on staff for 21 years.  He earned his bachelor's degree in youth ministry in 2005 and his masters in Bible in 2009, both from Oklahoma Christian University.  Phil speaks frequently at churches, lectureships, conferences, and youth rallies across the country.  Like other preachers, Phil married way over his head, tying the knot with Kansas native Mary Brookman in 2005.  They have two beautiful children, Anna and Heidi, 14 and 12 years old.  Phil enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, ping pong, and a good Mexican meal any day of the week.  Phil loves the challenge of interpreting ancient texts so they make sense to modern audiences.  He is passionate about scripture, discipleship, and spiritual formation.
